Release Notes

• After you subscribe, the confirmation page shows an Open CopyCopyPaste button. One click lands you back in the app with the Action Palette open and the action you were about to run — including anything you'd typed with it — ready to go. Press Return and you're done.
• That works even if you copied something else along the way (a promo code, your card number): the command you composed survives the trip.
• If you skip the button and just come back yourself, the app catches up on its own — it now keeps watching for your subscription for much longer after you head to checkout, and re-checks whenever you open the Action Palette.

• Paying with a different email than you signed in with — a work address, or an address your browser autofilled — used to leave the app thinking you had no subscription at all. The purchase is now credited to the account you're signed in with, regardless of the email on the payment.
• The checkout page shows which account you're subscribing as, so there's never a question about where the trial will land.

• Running out of free actions used to open with a sales pitch and no explanation. It now says plainly that you've used your free actions, so a product you were happily using an hour ago doesn't start asking for money without a reason.
• Pricing lives on the website rather than in the app, so what you see when you subscribe is always current.
• If you still have free actions left, Settings no longer tells you "No subscription yet" as though you were already blocked.

Check for Updates… used to offer a new version with a blank panel and no way to tell what was in it. Every release from now on arrives with a short summary and a link to the full notes.

• The palette can stay open while you work elsewhere. Click the pin in the bottom-left corner and switching to another app no longer closes it — go look up the date, the name, the link you needed, and come back to it. It follows you across Spaces and floats over full-screen apps.
• A pinned palette also won't auto-dismiss after a result, so you can read and copy at your own pace. Esc still closes it whenever you want.
• Drag the palette anywhere. Grab the card and move it if it's sitting on top of what you're reading.

• Half-written commands come back. If the palette closes while you were typing, what you'd written is waiting the next time you open it on the same clipboard item. Closing with Esc still means you meant it, and clears it.
• Picking an action keeps your context. Type a few notes, then choose an action, and your text is still there with the cursor at the end — it used to vanish.
• Backspace clears the action, not your words. With an empty field, ⌫ dissolves the action you'd picked so you can choose another. This was always meant to work and never did.
• The ⏎ badge at the end of the input is now a real button, and a much easier one to hit.

• The action chip in the input row is easier to read in light mode — it was too faint against the field.
• Memories now offers a New Memory button when you haven't written any yet, instead of leaving you to find the one in the toolbar.
• First-run setup reads better throughout: clearer sign-in copy about the emailed code, a Verify button that waits for the whole code, and a permission step that leads with what you get rather than what macOS will ask you.

• Every action is always available. No more installing or enabling actions — all built-ins are present from the start, organized by category chips (For You, Messaging, Social, Writing, and more). Switch chips with ⌘1–⌘8.
• Add context to any action. Pick an action, then optionally type extra instructions before pressing ⏎. Or skip the action entirely: just type what you want and press ⏎ to run it as a custom task.
• Your clipboard is always visible. A preview band shows what you copied in every state. Click it to jump to that item in Clipboard History.
• A calmer, clearer design. One-column lists, a cleaner footer with a live progress line, and a countdown you can pause just by pointing at it. When a result is ready, it's on your clipboard — paste with ⌘V.
• Favorites, front and center. Star any action and it appears in For You. Reorder your favorites by dragging in Configure → Actions → Favorites.
• Save a repeated task as an action. If you keep typing the same custom instruction, the palette offers to save it as a real action, prefilled and named from your own words.

• The Actions screen now shows the whole catalog with three views: All, Favorites, and Created by Me.
• Make a Copy of any built-in to customize it. Your copy is entirely yours to edit, including which content types it works with (anything, text only, or images and PDFs).
• Assign a quick key to any action by clicking its keycap. If the key is taken, we'll tell you who has it and offer to reassign.

• Actions now include only the memories that are actually relevant to what you copied, instead of all of them every time.
• After a run, CopyCopyPaste may suggest saving something you typed as a new memory — always your call.

• All-new onboarding, including a Personalize step so your replies sound like you from day one.
• Subscriptions are live: every account starts with a free trial, and you can manage your plan from Settings.
• Removed: the Preview Before Copying setting. Results always land on your clipboard, and you can refine from the palette.

Copy a screenshot, an image, or a PDF from Finder and run actions on it: summarize a document, extract text from an image, whatever the task calls for. Files that are too large are compressed automatically, and if something isn't supported you'll get a clear message instead of a mystery failure.

• A two-pane layout: browse your history by day on the left, see the full item on the right.
• Images and files show real previews. Open images in a full-size viewer with zoom, reveal files in Finder, and copy anything back exactly as you copied it — images come back pixel-identical.
• Filter by type (text, images, files, or generated), pin the items you return to, and search by content, source app, or file name. Your Figma screenshots are now findable by typing "Figma".
• Copied a link? It shows as a link, with Open Link one click away.

• Results written in Markdown now display formatted: headings, lists, and links, the way they were meant to read. What you paste is unchanged.
• Refining a result now carries your earlier feedback forward, so "shorter" plus "less formal" stays both.
